Beranikah kamu mengukur perjalanan spiritualmu?

Image via WikipediaTiba-tiba saja kaki saya terayun ke kamar bermain di lantai dua. Di sana ada dua lemari kembar berisi kumpulan buku, saya menganggapnya sebagai perpustakaan. Entah mengapa, tangan saya terjulur dan selanjutnya kelima jari kanan saya tau-tau sudah menjepit buku berjudul "Perjalanan Spiritual" tulisan M.A.W. Brouwer. Buku ini adalah satu dari sepertiga koleksi buku saya yang masih bersegel rapat. Ya, jujur saja masih cukup banyak buku yang belum terbaca.

Mengapa jemari saya mendadak menarik buku bersampul kuning ini? Ah, nanti juga ketauan apa mauNya dengan memaksa saya membaca buku ini. Setidaknya saya meyakini ditanganNya tak ada istilah kebetulan.

Perjalanan spiritual? Ah, -jujur saja- frase itu begitu menakutkan untuk dijadikan bahan posting di blog ini! Andai boleh berkelit, saya akan lebih senang disuruh menjabarkan perjalanan karier saya. Gampang saja. Saya bisa mulai dari bulan Februari 1996 saat diwisuda, lantas mengembara di Jakarta menjadi karyawan perusahaan konsultan, hingga Agustus 2001 nekad menjadi orang rumahan: konsultan self employed.

Tapi tidak, topik yang musti saya tulis adalah perjalanan spiritual, bukannya perjalanan karier! Dari titik mana saya musti merangkai awal perjalanan? Dari lahir saat dituangi air suci? Atau diringkas saja sejak saya cukup tahu soal spiritualitas? Atau saat saya disadarkan bahwa menjadi pelayan Tuhan justeru mendatangkan berkah dan rejeki berlimpah? Ah, kawan. Saya belum cukup berani untuk menengok ke belakang merangkai kembali tahap perkembangan spiritualitas saya.

Akan tiba waktunya dimana saya akan merangkai kisah perjalanan spiritualitas saya. Laksana Jenderal yang masih berkuasa, saya belum siap untuk terlihat kecil dan penuh debu.

Namun setidaknya, ada pencapaian yang musti sesegera mungkin saya tuju dalam perjalanan spiritualitas ini.

Menjadi yang terkecil saat berada di depan
Menjadi terang saat semua lebih suka kegelapan
Lebih ingin memahami daripada dipahami
Mengasihi Tuhan dengan lebih sederhana
Mengasihi pasangan tanpa syarat
Mengasihi buah hati seperti melindungi biji mata

ReviewMe: Selalu Ada Pengharapan

Sekarang sudah hampir tengah bulan ya?
Yap, selama hampir dua minggu ini, ReviewMe -broker paid review- yang saya ikuti sedang tidak bersahabat. Iklan-iklan yang ditawarkan ke saya untuk di-review tak pernah beranjak dari angka US$ 5. Bukannya tak mensyukuri job senilai itu, tapi biasanya (baca: bulan lalu) lumayan gampang mengail job senilai US$ 10.

Akhirnya, hingga kemarin job yang saya ambil baru dua biji, itupun senilai @ US$ 7,5. Pahit deh.

Foto Intel Bandung Di Internet ?

Image via WikipediaFoto-foto intel Bandung dipajang di Internet. Lagi-lagi, blog yang berlagak sebagai city journalism memamerkan perannya. Sederet foto yang diklaim oleh pemilik blog sebagai foto intel di Bandung dipajang dalam beberapa kali posting. Benarkah foto-foto tersebut adalah wajah dari intel di Bandung? Intel kepolisian? Intel kejaksaan? Intel Angkatan Darat? Intel FPI? Intel mahasiswa?

I don't care!

Apa untungnya bagi kita mengetahui wajah intel andai kita bukanlah orang yang berseberangan dengan pemerintah dan atau pihak keamanan? Mungkin benar foto tersebut adalah foto intel di Bandung, tapi mungkin juga bukan. Beberapa wajah dari foto intel tampak culun dan lebih muda dari foto-foto close-up saya. Beberapa lagi memang mirip dengan wajah intel yang dicitrakan oleh sinetron kita.

Tapi sekali lagi, apa untungnya kita meributkan soal foto-foto intel? Biarlah soal ini diurus oleh si Sawung pemilik blog yang disetiap postingnya selalu memberi footer di muntahkan oleh sawung@psik-itb.org.

Selama kita hidup secara normal, biarkan saja intel atau apalah berseliweran di sekitar kita. Bisa saja intel ngider di sekeliling rumah kita dengan menyaru sebagai penjual es cincau, pemungut kardus, penjual remote control dll. Berpikir positif saja. Intel bandung atau intel di manapun dibayar untuk menjamin bahwa negeri ini terhindar dari huru-hara, dan atau gangguan keamanan. Kalau perlu dan anda kenal mereka saat tugas, tawarin mereka segelas aqua atau persilakan mereka kencing di kamar mandi kita. Siapa tahu mereka sudah kebelet berjam-jam selama menjalankan tugas!

Widyawati,Sophan Sophiaan, Lubang, Bekasi

Image by Steve Webel via FlickrWidyawati masih gundah dan tentunya berduka. Kepergian sang soulmate dengan cara yang tragis tentulah sulit untuk dihapus dengan segera. Konon, sebelum ajal menjemput, Sophan Sophiaan sempat berujar ini adalah touring terakhirnya. "Saya capai, mau pensiun dari Harley. Mau main golf," katanya. Firasatkah?

Tapi yang pasti, Widyawati dan kita sulit untuk bisa menerima kenyataan bahwa lubang maut tempat Sophan Sophiaan ambruk telah merenggut puluhan nyawa. Dan kematian Sophan Sophiaan adalah kematian ke empat puluh yang diakibatkan oleh lubang maut tersebut!

Sorotan kamera dan berita yang menasional-lah yang akhirnya mendorong pejabat setempat untuk menimbun lubang tersebut.

Ah, andai Widayawati dan Sophan Sophiaan tinggal di bekasi, tentulah mereka akan lebih lihai berzig-zag. Kota Bekasi yang dulu aku kutuk (dan akhirnya aku kena batunya karena musti tingal dan menetap di sini) kini jauuuh lebih buruk kondisi jalanannya dibandingkan kota asalku yang katrok: Bantul.

Ribuan rumah baru terus muncul di bekasi, namun jalanan masih segitu-gitu saja, tak ada peningkatan kualitas jalan, tak ada selokan, tak ada kepedulian walau bupati telah berganti.

Kalau sudah begini, kecakapan mengemudi motor musti ditambah satu faktor penting untuk selamat sampai di tujuan: faktor itu adalah nasib mujur!
